Linda L. Muir

July 22, 1955 - February 11, 2021

Linda L. Muir, age 65 of L’Anse, MI passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at UP Health System, Marquette, MI. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 22, 1955 the daughter of the late Bobby and Bonnie (Saunders) Wager. Linda graduated from Reno High School in Nevada. She had worked as a CNA, a Road Flagger and had painted for Tribal Construction for many years. Linda was a member of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to the VFW to play pool and visit with friends, volunteering to make pasties and she adored and took care of her children and grandchildren. Linda is survived by her loving children; Buck (Kayla) McMahan of L’Anse, Coady McMahan of L’Anse and Amber Smith of Virginia, grandchildren Hayleigh McMahan, Kylie McMahan, Valencia Luce, Haley Smith and Sean Smith, 3 great grandchildren, her brother Ken Wager of Carson City, Nevada and niece Mackenzie Lee Wager of Carson City, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Coady’s dad Marty Don McMahan, and her brother Robert Lynne Wager. A memorial funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor John Henry officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service. Immediately following the funeral service, the family invites friends to join them at the Baraga American Legion Post #444 for a celebration of Linda's life. Spring interment will take place in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
