Though we did not know Arlene intimately, we do know that her smile, kindness and spirit will be greatly missed. We were able to hear more of her life when recently in Florida with daughters Beth and Becky. Wow! What an adventure she had! We can only begin to imagine the impact this wonderful, faithful woman of God had on her family, church, many students and everyone she crossed paths with in her life. Her daughter Beth, our sister-in-law, is such a blessing to our family. And so, I know Arlene's spirit lives on as well in all the lives Beth has touched, including my husband Marc's and mine. We pray that your burden of grief will be swiftly lifted and replaced by a measure of our Lord's peace. Our deepest sympathies to Russ, Beth, Becky, Kris and the family.

I had the honor of working with Arlene at BHK. So many Baraga County children received a quality educational beginning because of Arlene. We have lost a beautiful soul.
