I was their best man and he was ours. we did many things together some of which can't be told here. Was glad that we got to see him this summer. Will miss him greatly. Dave Myers

I met Ed once when I was a little kid. I think he worked at the L'Anse Larry's Super Value as a meat cutter. My mom worked in the bakery there. I was going for swimming lessons up to Suomi and my ma was mad at me that I was disturbing her workday with 'trivial things' by asking how I was going to get from Bovine to Hancock (I had already ridden my dirt bike from Bovine into L'A to ask her). Ed overheard. He came up and talked to me, asked what time I needed to be there, said he would take me if no one else could. Wow. I will never forget how kind he was to me and so willing to help someone else. It turned out that I got up to Hancock with a friend's family, but I will always remember Ed as a kind person who was so kind and willing to help someone. Prayers & hugs to Kris and the whole family.
