Helen and Family, We just found out that Garry went home to be with the Lord. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
My mother, Laura Forcia Lee, phoned from Michigan to tell me of your great loss. Helen, my sister Cheryl and I met you and your dear husband when we were children. That time is a fond memory for me. Our precious Lord has received back with Him such a gift in your husband. My prayer is that His Holy Spirit comforts you and helps you draw from His well of peace.
In God's love,
Diane Norris Paulsen
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a very caring person. Your dad/husband gave me my first job, at the drive in. Garry was a very special person. All of you are in my prayers.
Helen and Family, my deepest sympathies go out to you all. As you know, Garry was my boss at the A&W Drive-In way back in the day, and I greatly respected him for his honesty, his integrity, and his patience! My memories of the Drive-In days bring a smile to my face to this day. I still smile when I think of Garry singing Elvira to the radio, as a second row of cars would start on a busy Sunday evening! It's been several years since I've been away from the area, but I think of you all often. Again, my deepest sympathies for your loss.
Angela, and family. So sorry to hear about your dad. We both know he couldn't continue with this devastating disease. I hope he didn't have to suffer too much in the end. It seems like yesterday we were discussing my sister dying of ALS and it was a year and eight months ago. Time does go on, and all we can do is cherish the memories we have of our loved ones. Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you during this hard time and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Garry Tollefson was a good man. My sympathy to your family.
