Charlie, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Iris was a kind and loving person, making everyone who knew her feel welcome.
I was lucky to have known Iris when I became Gary's wife, I remember the good times we had snowmobiling and listening to you play at the sidetrack and usually ending up at your home. Iris always made me feel so welcome. She will be missed by many people. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family
To all of Iris' family: Such a sad loss, I have known Iris since we were kids in Alston school. She also used to cut and perm my hair, giving us a chance to talk and talk. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. Irene & Ron Mantila

You have been a treasured friend to the Anderson family for many years and I have fond memories of your visits and the music you and Dad made together. Take care of yourself and God Bless you all. Just a note that all of your family is in our prayers. After leaving the funeral home, we happened to call our friends, Bill & Eleanor Schafer ([email protected]), who currently reside in Marshfield, WI. Lo and behold, they know you (Charlie) and Iris very well, and spent many happy times together with you. They said to send their condolences, love and prayers to all. Marge and I only know one of the kids well, that being Wanda, and she has always been a joy to see and talk to, and we're SURE the others to be the same with the great parents, like you two. Your family will always be in our prayers and we feel honored to have known all of you. With Love, Jim, Marge, Kent & Scott.
Our Deepest Sympathy to the Pietila Family. So sorry to hear of the loss of your Wife and Mother. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
God saw her getting tired,
And he wispered come with me,
He took her hand and led her,
To his garden up above.
His garden must be beautiful.
For he picked a beautiful,
Iris
The day he took her home..
Iris will always be remembered as my very first employer. As I babysat her children.
And will always be remembered, as the beautiful, loving person she was.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Wanda and the rest of the family, on the loss of your Mom. She was a special lady, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Bill & I are with you in prayer. Bill & I will always remember the good times we had with Iris. She was so proud of being wife and grandmother, we women are always the happiest when we have family to love and cherish. Making people and especially happy with her skill was such a blessing. We will see you all when we are in upper Michigan, probably in the spring.
