So sorry for your loss. Dave and I would be driving by. He’d see Howard out in the yard and pull in to talk. Next thing , there’s Jean inviting us in for coffee, always ready with a delicious sweet. Loved listening to their stories. Fine people. My sincere sympathy.

My aunt Jean was more of a mother to me than an aunt, I loved her so and cherished every visit. I will never forget her voice, especially her laughter! I saw her last summer, and was so thankful I could make that trip back to the UP. I was born in L'Anse, and even though I didn't grow up there, it always felt like home when I could visit.
