Most of my memories of my life have my Grandpa in it, good and Bad he was always there for us, we were very blessed to have him there. When I got in my first fight as a little kid, I ran home and he was there, he told me it would be Ok and that the next time it happened to "Pop him in the nose!" Growing as a child we would go out to the farm in Alston on Sundays for dinner and Sauna, once in a while he would give me a sip of his Blatz that he stored out on the front porch. As a teen we would work on our vehicles together, and once he found out I could tint windows, ever vehicle he owned after that had dark windows. Every Hard time I went through in my life he would say "If you want to make it you gotta be tough!" and it would resin with me and it got me through. When I came back from the war it was well after the hype and when I stepped off that plan I heard him shout proudly "Welcome back Chris!" He was my fathers best friend and he taught us all how to be close as a family and value the time we had together...you will be missed Gramp, I love you and will see you again one day!
