Doris and I send our deepest sympathy to you, it sure was a shock when we received the sad news. It seems like just yesterday we would laugh and kid around at the SVdP, you know he will be greatly missed by his many friends. Barb we are sorry we cannot be with you at the present time but know you and family are in our prayers and thoughts. We all have so many special memories of him, and I know you will get by because you will always have him in those memories held deeply in your heart.

Barb and Family,
My deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband and father. I absolutely loved him so much -- he was a wonderful neighbor to my Mom and I will always remember the visits we would have outside in the backyard when I would go up to visit my Mom. Thoughts and prayers are wilth all of you at this difficult time.
Don, Judy and Family,
I just want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. Over the past 10 years it has been a pleasure to get to know Vern and hear all of his stories and laughter. Unfortunately I am all to familiar with the pain that comes from losing a loved one, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and that your memories will ease the pain over time. Lots of love!

We will miss Vern's stories and laughter at camp. We always had a good time with Vern and Barb. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barb and the family at this time. We will cherish all our memories.
I used to go to the Klaas camp with Steve. It was always nice to visit Vern at his camp during deer season. He always made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Thinking of your family at this time. He will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Vern's family, Im sorry to learn of his passing. The memories you hold are endless.
Was very sorry to hear of Vern's passing. We will miss his frequent visits to our shop where we would talk about his days in the DNR. My father, just like Vern, started out in the fire towers at about the same time and he too became a heavy equipment operator. They worked in different Regions but knew of each other. We will miss his quick smile and always positive attitude. He will also be in our prayers.
