ALYCE M. SERATTI's Obituary
ALYCE M. SERATTI, age 74, of Baraga passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at her daughters home. She was born in L’Anse on May 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Piper) Almi. Alyce graduated from L’Anse High School in 1958. She married Jerry Seratti in L’Anse in 1958. He preceded her in death in 2004. Alyce was a self-employed hairdresser for many years. She was a member of L’Anse Baptist Church, and the Red Hatters. Alyce enjoyed oil painting and baking.
Alyce is survived by her loving children, Jerry P. (Julie) Seratti of L’Anse and Jeanine (Chas) Hulkkonen of Baraga, grandchildren Michael, Alex, Samantha, Chelsea, Jasma, Alycia, Justin, Doug, and Danny, great grandchildren Savanaah, Aubrey, Vincent, Anna Belle, Clayton, Cole, Payton, Karissa, Hunter, Fletcher and Karlee, and brother Biddle Almi of Aura. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A memorial funeral service was held at 6 p.m on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the L’Anse Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Bishop officiating. The family received friends at the church on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Following the memorial funeral service the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and desserts in the church hall.
Interment will take place in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
