ANNA C. BRAZEAU's Obituary
ANNA C. BRAZEAU, 93, of L'Anse passed away Thursday evening April 10, 2008 at Bayside Village, L'Anse. She had been a resident there for 9 months. Anna was born in Calumet, MI. on January 8, 1915 the daughter of the late,Matt and Margaret (Maijmih) Muvrin. She attended school in Bovine. Anna married George Brazeau in L'Anse on November 18, 1939. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2002. Anna was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the former Altar Society. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, going to the casino, cooking, and in her earlier years worked on their farm.
Mrs. Brazeau is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Christine) of L'Anse, Barbara (Aldrick) Sirard of Midland, MI., and Mary (Stuart) Lahti of L'Anse, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and sister Agnes James of Spokane, Washington. Numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret in 2002, 1 brother, and 4 sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L'Anse with Father George Maki, celebrant. Spring interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse. Monday evening a parish prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
