ANNETTE M. AHOLA's Obituary
Annette Mary (Snyder) Ahola, age 53, of L’Anse, MI, left this earth to fly with the angels after a lengthy battle with cancer at 5:55 am Sunday, October 28th, 2012 at her home. She was born October 16, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI. the daughter of John and Marian (Matt) Snyder. She was the youngest of 4 children. The family moved to the L’Anse area when she was 12, and became lifelong residents where she raised her five children. Annette was a collector of all things teddy bears. She loved to play cribbage, and was a long time employee of the L’Anse VFW, George’s Sports Bar, and the L’Anse Golf Club. She cherished the moments she had playing games with her grandchildren. Each child had their own alias she affectionately named them. Annette cherished her last visit with her best friend Debbie.
Annette is survived by her children Wendy (Tim) Soli, Allan (Jamie) Dantes Jr., Elwood Niemi Jr., Angel (Bill) Seppanen, and Scott Johnson, her loved grandchildren Justice, Audrann, Arieanna, Aaliyah, Torynce, Dannii, Adalynn, and Blake, her father, John, brothers Robert (Elizabeth) Snyder, and Philip Snyder, and sister Cindy Reed. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother and two granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the many nurses, aides, and especially Jamie and Jessica for making her last days joyful.
At her request no formal service is planned, and the family wishes to forgo flowers or gifts. If desired, monetary gifts may be sent to the Family of Annette Ahola at the Baraga County Federal Credit Union to assist with funeral arrangements.
