Art Allert was one of the finest men I have had the pleasure of knowing, and I will miss seeing him at the Masonic lodge and the Shrine club. He has been a positive influence on me and many others. May he rest i n peace. Jon-Eric ("Joe") Stenson
Kurt, JoAnn, and families...It is with sadness that I read of Art's passing. To sum it up, he was quite the character. I have fond memories of him stopping into the Sentinel office over the years--usually to share something about one of his many community projects he was involved with. And if he stopped in during the summer months, I can almost guarantee he was on his way to the golf course as soon as he finished "business".

I will always remember our walks down the block to “Art’s Store” for penny & nickel candy 🍭. He was always patient & kind to all the kids as we lingered trying to dedcide which we should buy.
