BEATRICE M. WAKEFORD, 85, of Sidnaw, MI. passed away Friday, February 3, 2006 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Morengo, WI. on June 11, 1920 daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (D Read Obituary
Aunt Bea will be missed by us all. She was always there for me as a child and remained that way to the end.

I'm sorry to hear of Bea's passing. I don't know any of her family, however, I spent a lot of time in Sidnaw as a kid since the Beauprey's and Provost's are my relatives. Many times I would walk with my cousins to the store next to my Uncle Jo Jo's bar and get "penny" candy. Wow, how far that $1.00 went!! She was also so sweet and smiled all the time. I will be thinking of her family at this time. God Bless
Whenever I think of visiting Sidnaw in the summer as a child, I remember walking into the coolness of the Sidnaw general store and hearing, above the hum of the freezers, Aunt Bea saying "well, hello Mont." Up until last Christmas, she still included five dollars in her Christmas cards to me. That's the kind of lady she was - warm and giving, always with a welcoming smile. I'll miss you, Aunt Bea.
