BERNARD R. BRESSETTE's Obituary
BERNARD R. BRESSETTE, 73, of Marquette and formerly of Ewen, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans following a lengthy illness. He was born in Baraga, MI. on August 13, 1930. Bernard attended Baraga Schools. He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Bernard was an over the road truck driver for most of his life.
Mr. Bressette is survived by his son, Gregory Bressette of Ontonagon, grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Leannea Lynn, and Jessie Mae, great-grandchild, Isabelle Cathleen, and sister, “Sissy” Jermac of Marquette. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and brothers, Kenneth, Earl, Raymond, and Robert.
Graveside services for Mr. Bressette were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in the Assinins Cemetery with Father James Ziminski officiating. Arrangements for Mr. Bressette have been entrusted to the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse.
