Charles S. "Charlie" Webb's Obituary
Charles S. "Charlie" Webb, age 62 of Covington, MI passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 at UP Health System, Marquette, MI. He was born in Battle Creek, MI on September 1, 1963 the son of the late Leslie “Les” and Jannet (Krantz) Webb. Charlie graduated from L’Anse High School in 1982. He married the former JoEllen Chagnon on May 20, 1989 at United Lutheran Church, L’Anse. Charlie worked for various logging companies as a logger and truck driver. He enjoyed working on cars, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife JoEllen of Covington, daughters Jessica Webb of Covington and Pastor Laura Webb of Elk Horn, Iowa, and sisters Rebecca “Becky” (Wayne) Murphy of Macon, Missouri, and Jannet (Leonard) Mercer of Covington. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his father Les and step mom Viola and his mom Jannet and step father Bob.
Funeral services for Charlie will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor Rich Little officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Immediately following the funeral services, the family invites friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon in the Harrington Gathering Room, located at the funeral home.
