CLARENCE H. PATTERSON's Obituary
CLARENCE H. PATTERSON, 80, of Skanee, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, following an illness of several months. He was born in Indiana on June 25, 1931. Clarence attended school in Indiana. He was a welder at the Tilden Mine until his retirement in 1993. In 1994 he married the former Arlene Roth in Skanee. Clarence was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Skanee. He loved music, photography, hunting, fishing, and growing flowers, which he was generous in giving away to his many friends.
Mr. Patterson is survived by his loving wife Arlene, children David (Sherry) Patterson of Spring Lake, Steven (Theresa) Patterson of Grand Rapids, William (Melinda) Patterson of Oklahoma, and daughter Karen Bansen of Florida, grandchildren Randy, Ray, and Ralph, and great grandchildren Jamie, Amy, Morgan, Abigail, and Maize.
A memorial service for Mr. Patterson was held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from Zion Lutheran Church, Skanee with Pastor Judy Mattson officiating. Interment took place in the Skanee Cemetery. The family greeted friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service.
