DARYL W. "TUNA" FISH's Obituary
DARYL W. “TUNA” FISH, age 57, of L’Anse passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 11, 2013. He was born in L’Anse on January 14, 1956 the son of the late Donald and Isabelle (Johnson) Fish. Tuna graduated from L’Anse High School 1974. He was a self-employed contractor in the area for many years. Tuna enjoyed being outdoors, 4-wheeling, bird hunting, skeet shooting, pontooning, and being at camp. He was a good family role model, and his unique sense of humor always made people laugh.
Tuna is survived by the love of his life Donna, his children Heidi (Gerald) Marinich of L’Anse, Kyle Fish of Skanee, Gary Fish of Wausau, Mitch Fedie, and Klaire Fedie both of L’Anse, granddaughter Rylee Fish, brothers Donald (Barbara) Fish of Baraga, James Fish of L’Anse, Jack Fish of L’Anse, Harlan (BK) Fish of Baraga, and Douglas Fish of Utah, sisters Sharon (Arne) Putala of Baraga, and Helen (Warren) Tikkanen of L’Anse. Aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Jody.
A memorial service for Tuna was held at 6 p.m, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, The family greeted friends on Thursday from 4 p.m until the time of the service.
