DOROTHY E. BERGERON's Obituary
DOROTHY E. BERGERON, 97, of Keweenaw Bay passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Bayside Village. She was born in Keweenaw Bay on January 17, 1911, the daughter of the late Edmund and Edna (Teahen) Aubin. Dorothy attended school in Baraga. She married Theodore Bergeron in Assinins on August 20, 1928. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1975. Dorothy was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.
Mrs. Bergeron is survived by her loving children, Floyd (Helena) Bergeron and Alyce Bergeron both of Keweenaw Bay, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 12 noon on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Baraga with Father George Maki, celebrant. Spring interment will take place in the Assinins Cemetery. The family received friends at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass.
