DOROTHY H. SCHROEDER's Obituary
DOROTHY H. SCHROEDER, age 91, of L’Anse passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 4, 1922 the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Rachel (Reip) Hayman. Dorothy graduated from high school in Baltimore. She married Charles Schroeder in Baltimore. He preceded her in death. Dorothy moved to Aura in April of 2007 to be near her son. She attended Zion Lutheran Church, Skanee. Dorothy’s greatest love was spending time with her family.
Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her loving sons Charles “Chuck” Schroeder of Aura, and Daniel (Margaret) Schroeder of Pittsburg, grandchildren Lori Lynn, Sherrye Lynne, Elizabeth Ann, and Bobbie Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister Mary Lou Hayman.
Funeral services for Mrs. Schroeder were held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Loudon Park Funeral Home in Baltimore, Maryland. Interment took place on the family plot in Baltimore.
She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace, and be in God’s eternal care.
