DOUGLAS 'TINY' J. TREADEAU's Obituary
DOUGLAS W. “TINY” TREADEAU, 73, of Ishpeming, passed away suddenly Friday, June 10, 2005, at Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming, MI. He was born in Houghton, MI. on November 22, 1931 son of the late Dono and Alice (Langevin) Treadeau. Douglas attended L’Anse area schools. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Houghton, MI. Doug worked in the woods as a sawyer and was an active volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul in Ishpeming.
Mr. Treadeau is survived by his wife, Electa Treadeau, stepchildren, Donald Treadeau of Dollar Bay, MI., Robert Treadeau of Baraga, Paul (Jan) Treadeau of Sturgeon Bay, MI., Rita (Al) Garner and Lee (Larry) Burk both of Detroit, numerous grandchildren, brother, Delbert Treadeau of Arlington, TX., sisters, Myrtice McIntyre and Marie (Ted) Elmblad both of L’Anse. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
A funeral service for Mr. Treadeau was held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 from the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, MI. Father George Maki officiated and interment took place in the Baraga Cemetery, Baraga, MI. The family greeted friends on Monday June 13, 2005 from 12 noon until the time of the service.
