Durwyn L. Chaudier's Obituary
Durwyn L. Chaudier, age 47, of Baraga, MI passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at The Light at Hancock Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hancock, MI. He was born in L’Anse, MI on March 17, 1972 the son of Durwyn J. and Fay H. (Anderson) Chaudier. Durwyn attended Baraga area schools. He had worked as a laborer for various businesses. Durwyn enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, playing with his grandchildren, 4-wheeling, going on his daily walks, visiting and drinking his favorite beverage.
Durwyn is survived by his loving family; children Durwyn Chaudier (Corey Pietila) of Baraga, Jade Chaudier (Jaren Forcia) of L’Anse and Brooke Chaudier (David Maki) of Baraga, grandchildren Drayden and Sienna Forcia and Abel Maki, mother Fay Chaudier of Baraga, MI, brother Daniel Chaudier of Baraga, sister Amy (Tim) Schneider of Skandia, MI, nephews Loyal and Elijah Schneider and Chase Chaudier, aunts Pauline Anderson and Judy (Pat) Mayo, uncles Doug (Sue) Anderson, Alan Anderson, John (Jackie) Chaudier, Joe (Doris) Chaudier, David (Jane) Chaudier, Tom (Karen) Chaudier and Bill (Paige) Chaudier, numerous cousins, best friend of over 30 years Darian DeCota, his significant other Nissa and her son Mikey and his dog “Coco Bean’. Durwyn was preceded in death by his father Durwyn J. Chaudier, grandson Jaden, aunts Mary Richards and Marlene Young, uncles John Anderson and Dennis and Fred Chaudier and grandparents John and Gladys Chaudier and Loyal and Evelyn Anderson.
Funeral services for Durwyn will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Zeba Hall, Zeba, MI with Father Corey Litzner officiating. The family will greet friends at the Zeba Hall on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Immediately following the funeral service, the family invites friends to join them for fellowship and a potluck luncheon at the Zeba Hall.
Spring interment and graveside services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 in the Baraga Cemetery, Baraga, MI with Deacon John Cadeau officiating.
