ELIZABETH APRIL CHOLETTE's Obituary
ELIZABETH APRIL CHOLETTE, 31, of Baraga passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. She was born in L'Anse on December 3, 1977 the daughter of Ronald and Mary Ann (LaPlante) Cholette. Elizabeth had lived at Shulstad Leisure Living for the past 16 years and was considered a member of the family. She enjoyed puzzles, playing with kids and loved taking things apart.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving family, mother and step-father Mary Ann (Tony) Crnkovich of Marquette, father Ronald Cholette of L'Anse, brother Tim Cholette of Marquette, and step sisters Sarah Fontaine of Marquette, and Nichole Swick of Texas. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Elizabeth were held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Reid Funeral Service, L'Anse with Father Janusz Romanek officiating. Interment took place in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A parish prayer service was held in the funeral chapel on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Following the service on Monday the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon in the Harrington Gathering room, located at the funeral chapel.
