Emil "Junior" Bast Jr's Obituary
Emil "Junior" Bast, Jr., age 78, of L'Anse, MI passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L'Anse, MI. He was born in Affton, Missouri on March 24, 1940 the son of the late Emil and Rosie (Cunst) Bast, Sr.
Junior loved listening to country music and all the entertainment at Bayside. He also enjoyed coloring and playing Bingo.
Junior is survived by his nephew and sister-in-law and guardian Peggy Vervisch. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Covington Cemetery with Pastor Rich Little officiating. Immediately following the interment, friends are invited for fellowship and a luncheon at Bethany Lutheran Church, Covington, MI.
