ETHEL D. CALDWELL's Obituary
ETHEL D. CALDWELL, 76, of L'Anse, passed away Wednesday Morning, December 24, 2008 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for several days. She was born in Pequaming on May 9, 1932 the daughter of the late Arnt and Johanna (Wiggens) Soli. Ethel was a graduate of L'Anse High School. She enjoyed playing the guitar and family “jam” sessions, collecting nick-knacks and praying hand figurines. She loved her dog, “Daffy”.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her loving sons, Gary Allman of L'Anse and Mike Caldwell of Mississippi, grandchildren, Kim, Dawn, Ryan, and Lindsay, step-grandchildren, Amy, Erica, Amber, Floyd, and Adam, great grandchildren, Kayla, Cooper, Rylie, Lucas, and Brody, brother, Donald “Booze” Soli of Aura, and sister, Marie Hietala of L'Anse. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda, brothers, Verner, Ralph and Clifford, sisters, Shirley, Jean, Alice( “Ozzie”), Jean Marie, Helen, and, and Edna and infant twin brothers and an infant sister.
Services for Mrs. Caldwell will be held in the Spring.
