enjoyed my visits with her when I delivered her senior meals, lots of laughs and good conversation, she will be missed. RIP
I've known Evelyn since I was a young child. I stayed at my grandma Doris and gramps Otis house for many summers and Evelyn was their neighbor. I spent many days sat her home visiting and gardening in the garden with her and my grandma. I have many fond memories of her and her family. I miss many of her family members who have already passed And now she's gone. I visit the cemetery to place flowers on their graves and now I have another grave to stop by and say hi... I miss you.
Aunty was the most amazing lady. So many wonderful memories of her & Uncle Joe. Sleep overs at her house (where I got to sleep with her & wear her nightgowns), watching Hee-Haw & Austin City Limits on Saturday nights, Holiday gatherings & Christmas Eve when they would pull into the yard & carry in black garbage bags full of presents for all of us, being so excited to see what she brought us back after a trip to Hawaii, blueberry & apple pies, her cases of canned tomatoes & pickles from the garden. The memories are endless. She was always quick with sassy comments too. We love & miss you, Aunty!
