FEIMI "FAY" RISKU's Obituary
FEIMI “FAY” RISKU, age 94, of Germantown, WI, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Virginia Highlands Nursing Home, Germantown, WI. She was born in Watton, MI on January 23, 1918 the daughter of the late John and Ellina Leppala. Fay attended school in Watton. She married Bill Risku in Ironwood. He preceded her in death in 2000. Fay was a member of Watton Apostolic Lutheran Church. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, baking, and gardening. Fay was an excellent artist, and loved painting farm scenes
Mrs. Risku is survived by her loving daughter Sherrie (Curt) Kapugia of Germantown, WI, grandchildren Shane Kapugia of Racine, and Kyle (Julie) Kapugia of Waukasha, great grandchild Trevor, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Risku were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor Chas Prusi officiating. Interment will take place in the Covington Cemetery. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service. Following the funeral service, the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon in the Harrington Gathering Room, located at the funeral chapel.
