FLORENCE M. DESCHAINE's Obituary
FLORENCE M. DESCHAINE, age 82, of L’Anse passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Gwinn, MI on August 18, 1929 the daughter of the late John and Mary (Badger) Roberts. Florence was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed going on casino trips, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Florence is survived by her daughter Marian “Dolly” (Charles) Maki of L’Anse, grandchildren David, Dan, Kim, and Tim, great grandchildren Cole, Connor, Dani Rose, David, Jake, Hailee, Bryce, Blake, and one to be arriving soon, sister Margaret Dorskey of L’Anse and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Diane, brothers Ray, and John, and sisters Celia, and Evelyn.
Graveside services for Florence will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Baraga Cemetery with Father Antony Lukka officiating.
