Gail M. Gerou's Obituary
Gail M. Gerou, age 74 of L’Anse, MI and formerly of Baraga, MI passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Bayside Village, L’Anse due to complications from COVID-19. She was born in Detroit, MI on June 24, 1946 the daughter of the late Gordon and Ruth (Tulppo) Gerou. Gail graduated in 1964 from Taylor High School in Taylor, MI. She had previously been employed as a nurse’s aide with a nursing home in Paw Paw, MI. Gail was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Baraga. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching murder mysteries and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Gail is survived by her children Billy Ross, Alex Ross and Heather Cooper, her grandson Christian Ross, brothers James (Alberta) Gerou of Watton, John Gerou of California, sisters Marjorie Gerou of Hancock and Nancy Crawford of Virginia. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter Angelica and her parents.
