Georgenia E. Earring's Obituary
Georgenia E. Earring, age 48 of Ishpeming, MI passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 25, 1978 the daughter of the George F. and Paula (Swan) Earring.
Georgenia attended KBOCC and Northern Michigan University. She received a degree in environmental sciences, metal smithing, and her bachelor of science degree in Creative Arts.
She was a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in South Dakoata. Georgenia enjoyed jewelry making, crafting, rock picking and visiting with people.
Georgenia is survived by her loving sons; Wakinyan-Wakan Chosa (Joni Heino) of Negaunee, MI, and Tokala Sha Chosa of Hillsdale, MI, and sister Denise Chasinghorse of South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse.
