Georgia Lee Brady's Obituary
Georgia Lee Brady (Auge), 66, passed away on Monday, February 22nd at UP Health System in Marquette, Michigan. She was born in Baraga on October 19, 1949, the daughter of the late George & Leona (Perrow) Auge and was a resident of the L’Anse/Baraga area her entire life. Georgia attended Baraga Area Schools. She married Grant Brady on October 17, 1987. Georgia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L’Anse. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing bingo, and spending time with friends and family.
Georgia is survived by her husband of 27 years, Grant Brady, of Baraga, MI; her two sons, Robert (Angie) Smith of Kalamazoo, MI, and Ron Smith (Jackie Klepaski) of Dexter, MI; four grandchildren, Austin, Ashley, Bryce and Tyler; a sister, Kathy Grady of Phoenix, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and three sisters, Linda Dault, Phyllis Porter, and Priscilla Whitty preceded her in death.
A memorial funeral service was held on Friday, March 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, with Father Corey Litzner officiating. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Friday from 12 pm until the time of the service.
Spring interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery.
