HARRY A. HATARA's Obituary
HARRY A. HATARA, 37, of St. Marys, GA. passed away suddenly Thursday, July 19, 2007 at his residence in Georgia. He was born in Marquette, MI. on January 4, 1970 son of Pekka "Peter" and Marilyn (Tarvainen) Hatara. Harry attended school at Westwood School in Marquette and graduated from Amphitheater High School in Tucson, AZ. He was employed as a certified auto mechanic and was currently taking classes in computer design. Harry’s leisure activities included fishing, computers, and photography. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and family and liked helping others.
Mr. Hatara is survived by his loving daughter, Tuija Hatara of Georgia, his parents, Marilyn and Peter of Georgia, and brother, P.J. of Romulus, MI. Harry was preceded in death by his grandparents and several cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Hatara were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse with Pastor Mark Reinsch officiating. Interment took place in the Covington Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of the service.
