HELEN J. YLITALO ANDERSEN's Obituary
HELEN J. YLITALO ANDERSEN, age 74, formerly of Elo and Colorado passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the home of her sister Mary Tikkanen, where she had resided for the past year. She was born in Elo, MI on April 4, 1939 the daughter of Hilma Ylitalo. Helen attended John Dolle School.
Helen is survived by her sister Mary Tikkanen, brother Ronald (Jean) Niemisto of Pelkie, special nephew Pete Tikkanen of L’Anse, niece Carolyn, nephew Aaron, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Wilfred.
Graveside services will be held at the Elo Cemetery at 11 a.m, Friday, May 24, 2013 with Pastor Judy Mattson officiating. Memorials in Helen’s honor may be directed to Baraga County Hospice.
