HELMI A. FREEMAN's Obituary
HELMI A. FREEMAN, 85, of Herman, passed away at her residence Wednesday, November 12, 2003, following a prolonged illness. She was born in Herman, MI. on April 4, 1918, daughter of the late Casper and Amanda Moilanen. Helmi attended school in Herman. She married Charles Freeman on November 26, 1938 in Detroit, MI. Helmi loved being with her grandchildren and enjoyed her flower garden and bird watching.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her loving husband; Charles, daughters; Judith Arlene (Kenneth) Haney of Walled Lake, MI. and Jeanette (Bob) Smith of Coppers Cove, TX., 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
Graveside services for Mrs. Freeman will be held in the Herman Cemetery in the Spring. The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Freeman’s obituary may be viewed at and condolences sent to www.rfsc.net
