We are both very sorry to hear that Jack passed away. I have fond memories of visiting Jack & his brother Pete at the Turunen farm when young and making forts in the hay loft, playing in the river, and learning the hard way that cows cannot be ridden like a horse.
I am stunned and so sorry for you to lose a son, brother, husband, father, etc. Sitting here in Miami wondering how things are going in the U.P. I am shocked for such a fine young man to leave us so early in his life. I knew him as a young man when I lived in Pelkie. Cherish the memories.
