I was Jim's neighbor for the last 14 years. We served on the homeowners' association board of directors together during some of those years. Sometimes we'd see each other at the mailbox or elsewhere around the building and would chat--sometimes for over an hour.

I will remember Jim's keen mind, good humor and personal integrity. All of his neighbors in the complex benefitted from his work on our behalf. He was a good man and I'll always remember him.
