JAMES C. MORIN's Obituary
JAMES C. MORIN, 55, of Anchorage, AK., and formerly of Baraga, MI. died suddenly Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. He was born in Hancock, MI. o July 20, 1949 son of the late Elzior and Elizabeth (James) Morin. James resided in Alaska for the last 7 years and was employed by a national chain restaurant. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. James enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends.
Mr. Morin is survived by his children; Ronnie Paul Morin of Kansas, Dylan Morin of Baraga, and Shelly Sager of Kansas, brothers; Peter (Diane) of Baraga, Ron (Cheryl) of Ohio, Rick of Canada, and sister; LaDonna of Detroit. Numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services for Mr. Morin were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2004 from the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor Alan B. Fluegge officiating. Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery. The family received friends on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 12 noon until time of the service. The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, has been entrusted with arrangements
