JASON W. LINDEMANN's Obituary
JASON WILLIAM LINDEMANN, 20, of Baraga, MI. died unexpectedly from injuries incurred in an ATV accident on Sunday, June 27, 2004. He was born in L’Anse, MI. on August 19, 1983 son of Nick and Cindy Lindemann. Jason, his friends called him Butter, had a zest for life. He enjoyed having conversations with people and friends of all ages. He had a knack for understanding what people wanted to talk about, and a great personality that brought life to a conversation. Butter was unselfish, willing to help anybody, anytime. Butters hobbies included jet skiing, four wheeling, boating, fishing skiing, and ATV riding. Jason loved and took pride in his vehicles and enjoyed listening to music and cruising with his friends and family. He enjoyed welding and fabrication and took great pride in his work. During his career he worked at DesRocher Brothers, Koski Welding, Massies, K&D Fabrication and most recently Selkey Manufacturing. In his years at Baraga High School he played hockey, basketball and football. Jason graduated from Baraga High School in 2002.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cindy, father, Nick, his brother, Jeremy, great grandparent, Vienna Kauranen, grandparents, Donald and Gloria Baril, Nick and Jo Dean Lindemann, uncles, Bryan (Lori) Lindemann, Tom Lindemann, Bob (Kris) Lindemann, Jerry (Jessica) Lindemann, Tim Lindemann, Jim Lindemann, Gerard (Michelle) Lindemann, and aunts, Jeanne (Mike) Hirzel, Susie (Jim) Raymond, Kathleen (Tony) Selkey, Debbie Ross (Chuck Phillips), Brenda (Robbie) Mayo. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Pete and Stella Getzen, maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Agnes Voakes, his great-grandfather, and his uncle, Donald.
Funeral services for Jason were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 from the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Father Chacko officiating. Interment took place in the Baraga Cemetery. The family received friends on Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Following the service on Friday, friends were invited to join the family for fellowship and luncheon in the Harrington Gathering room, located at the funeral home.
