Jeanne L Smith's Obituary
Jeanne L. Smith Bonen of Houghton, formerly Jeanne Holemo of Ironwood, passed away on March 21, 2015 in Houghton at the age of 92. She was born in Ironwood, MI on June 17, 1922 the daughter of the late Harry and Saima (Hendrickson) Holemo.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Roy Bonen, her beloved son Steven Smith (Jennifer), grandchildren Bradley, Keith, Corey and Heidi, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sister Polly (Carl) Baron and sister-in-law Margaret “Peggy” Holemo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her first husband Oliver “Sarge” Smith, her parents Saima and Harry, brothers Harold, Olaf, Donald and Frederick and sisters Alice and Marian.
A family remembrance for Jeanne is planned for a later date.
