JEFFREY E. HOWE's Obituary
JEFFREY E. HOWE, 57, of Baraga, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home. He was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on April 30, 1952 the son of the late Wilford and Kathleen (Andreasen) Howe. Jeffrey graduated from Baraga High School in 1970. He then attended Michigan Tech for 1 year and transferred to Western University for 3 more years. Jeffrey was an artistic and sensitive individual who was passionate about photography. He specialized in black and white photography and portrait work along with capturing the unique beauty of flowers on film. He had an extraordinary skill in recognizing talent in others and encouraging them to pursue their precious gift Jeffrey was a member and great supporter of the Gallery 325 which is located at 315 McGillan in Baraga, Friends of the Arts, and numerous other artistic organizations. He had been a former Baraga Township Clerk.
Mr. Howe is survived by his aunt Bea (Norm) Inkpen of Quakertown, PA., uncles Adolph Andreasen and Carl Andreasen both of New Jersey, numerous cousins and friends also survive. He also leaves behind his special friend and companion, Marlowe.
There will be no funeral services scheduled at this time. Memorials in Mr. Howe's honor may be directed to Gallery 325, P.O. Box 115, Baraga, MI. 49908.
