JOHN H. HELTUNEN, 91, of Aura passed away Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit following a lengthy illness. He was born in Mason, MI. on July 23, 1914 son of the late John Edward and Ida Ma Read Obituary

What great memories of John and Ida - I was extremely fortunate to know them while I was growing up in Aura and they helped me through a difficult time in my life. I can close my eyes and still hear John talking, and such fond memories of helping out making hay on their farm, etc.
They were both the "Salt of the Earth" - some of the most wonderful and caring neighbors a person could ever have known.
