JOHN L. PIERSON's Obituary
JOHN L. PIERSON, age 75 of L'Anse, MI passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at his home. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on February 17, 1938, the son of the late Herman and Lucille (Bolhuis) Pierson. John graduated in 1957 from Preston High School in Grand Rapids. He married Jane Anderson at North Park Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids on June 28, 1958. He was a chair maker and designer in his own furniture business. John was a local member of the Masonic Lodge, and Ahmed Shrine. He loved the outdoors.
Mr. Pierson is survived by his loving wife Jane, children Ronald (Debbie) Pierson of Grand Rapids, and daughter Carol (John) Capriglione of Vulcan, MI, grandchildren Sarah, and Lewis, and brother James (Paula) Pierson of Grand Rapids. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, and 2 brothers.
Family services will be held at a later date.
