JOHN J. RENEHAN's Obituary
JOHN J. RENEHAN, age 54, of Aura, MI, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Marquette General Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Detroit, Mi on November 28, 1958 the son of Alexander and Betty (Panigay) Renehan. John graduated from high school in Ventura, CA. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for various commercial contractors. John enjoyed feeding the wildlife, gardening, and doing yard work.
Mr. Renehan is survived by his mother Betty Renehan of Shelby Twp., fiancé Cindy Bourton of Aura, brother Michael (Kwiyoung) Renehan of Lockport, IL, sisters Janet Renehan of L’Anse, Margaret Misner of L’Anse, Susan Mihalich of Algonac, MI. and Catherine Palazzolo of Troy, MI, special aunt Jeanette “Auntie” Panigay of Macomb, MI, and 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, special son Anthony Wright, brothers-in-law Thomas Misner, and James Mihalich.
Funeral services for Mr. Renehan were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Father John Longbucco officiating. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment took place in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
