JOSEPH SIKORSKY, 83, of Aura, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at his residence. He had been in ill health for several months. Joe was born in Aura, MI. on April 8, 1926 the son of the late Lawrence and Edna (Conrad) Sikorsky. He Read Obituary

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to all family members over your loss. I didn't know Joe very well, but I know of him. Having had all of the children as students ( David, Mark, Coryne and Jill) it to them I extend special sympathy. I am sorry I could not attend the services today. David, sure spent a lot of time at the marina with your dad and the rest of the family. To date I have one of the boats he sold and still use it. I also learned a lot from him about conservative thinking which I fall back on regularly. Joe had a significant roll in forming some of my my base beliefs and will be missed.
