Joyce M Elliott's Obituary
Joyce M. Elliott, age 75, of L’Anse, passed away Monday, May 11, 2105 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette. She was born in Watertown, WI on July 6, 1939 the daughter of the late Dale F. and Mary Jane (Sharp) Plymesser. Joyce attended school in Watertown, Wisconsin. In 1980 she he married Jack W. Elliott in Wisconsin. Joyce was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was very proud of the medal she received by completing the Lake Trout Festival Marathon. Joyce loved her beloved dog Wesley and her cats Buttons and Brandy. She enjoyed going to the casino.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Jack, daughters Marilyn Sakells of Duluth, Debbie Mulari of L’Anse, Ellen Mayle (Jay Elmblad) of L’Anse and Zindy Hall of Baraga, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one on the way, brother Garey of Wisconsin, sisters Dayle Faxon, Mildred Pinkston and Mary Williams all of Florida
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by granddaughters Heather and Chantilly and brothers Vern “Butch” and John
A celebration of Joyce’s life was held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the L’Anse VFW.
