JULIA A. TESANOVICH's Obituary
JULIA A. TESANOVICH, of Herman, Michigan passed away at her home following a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, March 25, 2007. Her loving family was by her side.
Julie, daughter of William and Mary "Sis" (Schutte) Kayramo, was born April 27, 1955 in L'Anse Michigan. Julie was raised in Herman and graduated from L'Anse High School in 1973. She attended Michigan Technological University and in 1979 earned her nursing degree, with honor. Julie worked as a nurse for many years at Baraga County Memorial Hospital and also with Baraga County Home Health Care and Winkler’s Nursing Home. In October, 1984 she married Paul Tesanovich and together they raised three children, Sean, Jalena and Vance. In 1991, Julie attained her real estate license and began her real estate career at Rolof Agency in L'Anse. She later worked with Century 21. She successfully achieved broker status and in 2001, along with her husband, Paul, started North Shore Real Estate. In 2004, she was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the State Board of Real Estate Broker's and Salesperson's. Julie particularly enjoyed the listing and selling of vacant land because it gave her the opportunity to spend time in the countryside and forest. She often was accompanied by her faithful companions; her dogs Champ and Chloe.
Julie was an avid gardener and enjoyed the many hours spent tending to her flowers and shrubs. Julie also loved spending peaceful time relaxing at her camp in Skanee and often slept under the stars.
Julie is survived by her loving family: husband Paul; three children, Sean Clements (Cheryne LaPointe) of Marquette, Jalena and Vance of Herman; one special grandson, Easton Clements, as well as her mother Mary "Sis" Kayramo of L'Anse and brother William J. Kayramo of L'Anse. She was preceded in death by her father, William.

In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests that memorials be given to Hope Lodge, 611 W. Doege, Marshfield, WI. 54449. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
