JUSTIN C. CONNOR's Obituary
JUSTIN C. CONNOR, age 26, of Skanee, MI passed away suddenly Friday, October 25, 2013. He was born in L’Anse on August 5, 1987 the son of DJ and Tammy (Hollon) Connor. Justin graduated from L’Anse High School in 2005. He then attended Michigan Tech. University. Justin was employed at CertainTeed Ceiling as a group leader. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Skanee. Justin was active in basketball, baseball, football, and golfing. He enjoyed hunting, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan games with Chris and Danny, and the boys.
Justin is survived by his loving family; parents DJ Connor and Tammy Hollon, brother Ryan Connor of Skanee, grandparents Carol and Jerry Hollon of Skanee, Dennis Connor of L’Anse, and Paul Rajala of Covington, aunts Jennie (Tom) Nordstrom, Meadie Hollon, Gail Hollon, Vicky (Brian) Carlson, Margie Connor (Jesse), and Dawn Connor, uncles Bill (Tina) Connor, Albert Hollon, Roger Hollon, and Bob Hollon. Numerous cousins and other family members survive. He was preceded in death by his grandma Marge Rajala, uncle Dale Hollon, aunt Helen Hollon, and uncle Charlie Hollon.
Funeral services for Justin were held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor Judy Mattson officiating. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 6 until 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Interment took place in the Skanee Cemetery. Following the interment the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon at the Zion Lutheran Church, Skanee.
