KEITH D. MUELLER's Obituary
KEITH D. MUELLER, 53, of L'Anse, went to our Lord Saturday August 29, 2009 at Marquette General Hospital following a brief illness. Keith was born December 5, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of August and Carol Mueller of Brooklyn, Michigan. A lifelong bachelor, Keith lovingly cared for his pet dogs. Most recently, he cared for his Siberian Huskie, Ruby. Keith shared his love of nature with his family and friends in both the lower and upper peninsulas. Their common interests of fishing, four-wheeling and boating united and sustained their friendships. Keith was a member and served meals for the L'Anse Eagles Club. Keith resided most of his life in Jackson, Michigan, graduating from Parkside High School in 1974. He worked at both the Jackson and L'Anse, Michigan fresh water treatment facilities.
In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by a brother, Kirk (Sandy) Mueller of Gunnison, CO. and sister Kim (Mike) Jones of Brooklyn, MI. He was the uncle of Lauren, Evan, Caleb and Hannah. He is also survived by a host of fellow workers and friends.
A memorial service in honor of Keith was held Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steven Hulke officiating at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse. The family received friends at the funeral chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Immediately following the services, a luncheon was held at the L'Anse Eagles Club.
