Margaret Marie Dorsky's Obituary
Margaret M. Dorsky, age 92 Of L’Anse passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at Bayside Village, L’Anse surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gwinn, Michigan on July 25, 1925 the daughter of the late John and Mary Florence (Badger) Roberts. Margaret attended school in L’Anse. She had been married Oswald Dorsky and he preceded her in death. Margaret was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L’Anse. She had enjoyed going to Bingo, playing cards, walking, going for rides, hunting, dancing, watching hockey and football and going to the Nite Owl.
Mrs. Dorsky is survived by her loving children Ben (Linda) Dorsky of L’Anse, Judy (Charles) Hulkkonen of Nisula, Rose (Loren) Kariainen of Covington and Margaret (Albert “Sonny”) Ellenich of Baraga, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, sons Michael and John and great grandson Jimmy.
Graveside services were held and interment took place in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. Immediately following the interment, the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and luncheon at the Sacred Heart Church Hall.
