MARGARET H. TOLLEFSON's Obituary
MARGARET H. TOLLEFSON, 91, of Florence, WI. and formerly of the L'Anse area passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at Golden Living Center, Florence, WI. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 7, 1918 the daughter of the late George and Anna (Andersen) Soli. Margaret attended school in Pequaming. She married Clarence Tollefson at United Lutheran Church, L'Anse on October 14, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1990. Margaret was the former cook at the Ford Bungalow in Pequaming. She was a member of United Lutheran Church, and the former L'Anse American Legion Post 144 Auxiliary, and the Zeba Sewing Circle. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and cleaning.
Mrs. Tollefson is survived by her loving daughter Elaine (Doug) Johnson of Florence, WI., grandson Samuel (Jessie) Karnack, IV of Crystal Falls, and great grandchild Dayton. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ellen, Eleanor, and Gudrum and brother John.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tollefson were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from United Lutheran Church, L'Anse with Pastor Scott Williams officiating. Interment took place in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m until the time of the service.
