Mary C. "Chris" Fredrickson's Obituary
Mary C. “Chris” Fredrickson, age 76, of L’Anse, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Bayside Village, L’Anse following a lengthy illness with her husband by her side. She was born in Alston, MI on December 25, 1939 the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Cayanus) Ross. Chris graduated from L’Anse High School in 1958. She married Robert “Bob” Fredrickson in L’Anse on July 14, 1961. Chris had worked as a custodian at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L’Anse. Chris enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Chris is survived by her loving husband Bob, sons Tod (Karen) Fredrickson of Sheboygan, WI, Kelly Fredrickson of L’Anse, Danny (Bretta) Fredrickson of Dresser, WI, daughter Robin (Russell) Sutton of Cadillac, MI, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother Joe (Penny) Ross of Duluth and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother A. Earl Ross.
Private family services will be held.
